— José María Yturralde

(1942, Cuenca, ES) studied fine arts at the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de San Carlos de Valencia (1958–1963). 1968–1973 participated in the seminars “Generación automática de formas plásticas” at the computer center of the University of Madrid. 1975 research fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Center for Advanced Visual Studies, Cambridge, MA, USA. Since 1993 professor in the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. He lives in Valencia, ES.
