(1937, Milan, IT) studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, Milan (1956–1960). 1960 joined Gruppo T. 1969 moved to the USA. From 1979 taught graphic design and visual communication at the Instituto Europeo di Design, Milan. From 1984 professor for theoretical perception and the psychology of forms at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, Milan. She lives in Milan.

— Victor Vasarely (Vásárhelyi Győző)

(1906 Pécs, today HU – 1997, Annet-sur-Marne, FR) studied medicine at the University of Budapest (1925–1927), painting at the Podolini-Volkmann Academy in Budapest (1927), and at the Mühely, an art school comparable to the Bauhaus, Budapest (1928/1929). 1930 moved to Paris where he worked as a graphic designer until 1944. 1955 initiated the exhibition Le Mouvement at the Galerie Denise René, Paris.

(1949, Utrecht, NL) studied computer and information science at the University of Pennsylvania, PA (M.S. 1973) and computer science at the Technical University Eindhoven (Ph.D. 1985). 1968 founding member of Compos 68. 1969–1991 engaged in computer graphics and movies. 1970–1988 teaching appointments in computer science at various universities in the Netherlands, UK, USA, and in Nicaragua. 1977/1978 project leader at the University Hospital, Leiden, NL. 1978–1984 scientist at the Center for Mathematics and Information Science, Amsterdam. 1988–1992 founder and managing director of the firm Parallel Computing, Amsterdam. 1992–1996 technical director and 1999–2001 managing director of European IT projects. Since 2001 professional actor in movies, TV series, TV commercials, and management courses. He lives in Amsterdam.

— Marijan Vejvoda

(1939, [–]) studied architecture at the University of Zagreb (grad. 1964). He worked in various architecture studios. 1968/1969 guest lecturer at the Manchester College of Art and Design. Currently professor at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management in Opatija Ika and the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Rijeka. He lives in Matulji, HR.

— Nanda Vigo

(1936, Milan, IT) studied architecture at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. During a stay in the USA, she worked for Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural office and a leading architecture firm in San Francisco. She has taught at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, the Accademia Belle Arti Macerata, the Instituto Europeo di Design in Milan, and the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, Milan. She lives in Milan.

— Philip J. van Voorst

(1939, Amsterdam, NL) studied poster design at a private school in Amsterdam, design at the Southwest Missouri State College (B.F.A.), and sculpture at the University of Kansas, Kansas City, MO (M.F.A.), where he taught in the design program as a graduate assistant. 1966 founding member of the Art Research Center (ARC). 1992–2007 committee member of the James Wright Poetry Festival. He lives in southwest Missouri.

(1931, Alkmaar, NL) studied biology at a horticultural college in Hoorn. 1952–1961 employed by the plant protection service in Wageningen. 1953 de vries began to make art as an autodidact. He participated in several ZERO exhibitions until 1967. 1969–1975 traveled in Africa and Asia. He lives in Knetzgau, Eschenau, DE.
