(1930, Wendorf, DE) studied at the Fachschule für angewandte Kunst, Berlin, and painting at the Kunsthochschule Weissensee, Berlin, and the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. 1961–1966 member of ZERO. 1976–1995 professor at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. He lives in Düsseldorf, DE.
